Crystal Robinson, MS, LCMHCS
Owner, Therapist & Clinical Supervisor

With over 18 years of clinical experience, I specialize in supporting BIPOC young adults and adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and major life transitions.

As a therapist, I understand how overwhelming it can be to carry the weight of many roles. Whether you are a daughter, mother, partner, or professional, your own needs can often go unaddressed. I created iMatter Counseling Services to provide a space where you can slow down, focus on yourself, and work through the things that may be keeping you from moving forward.

Together, we will:

  • Break free from patterns of self-doubt and negative thinking

  • Set and maintain boundaries that honor your well-being

  • Navigate life transitions with clarity and confidence

  • Reclaim your voice, your identity, and your strength

Therapy with me is rooted in compassion, cultural awareness, and empowerment. I am also trained in Brainspotting (Phases 1 & 2), a brain-based approach that supports deeper processing of trauma, stress, and emotional experiences. Whether you’re seeking relief, growth, or transformation, you deserve to live on your terms.

“Heal first—rescue later.” ~Crystal Robinson, LCMHCS

Karah Haskell
Graduate Counseling Intern

Now Accepting New Clients

Karah is a graduate counseling intern and Clinical Mental Health Counseling student at East Carolina University. She provides virtual counseling to individuals ages 16 and older throughout North Carolina under the clinical supervision of Crystal Robinson, MS, LCMHCS.

Karah enjoys working with clients who may be navigating anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, school-related concerns, grief, or past experiences that continue to affect them.

Her counseling style is collaborative, compassionate, and creative. She works alongside clients to explore what may be weighing on them, better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, and develop strategies that support the changes they want to make. Creativity is also an important part of Karah’s counseling style, and she believes creative expression can open doors to thoughts and emotions that may sometimes be difficult to put into words.

Karah believes you don’t have to know exactly what to say or have everything figured out before beginning counseling. You can start where you are and work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and identify what you would like to be different.

Beyond the Counseling Room

Outside of counseling, Karah enjoys writing, creating art, spending time in nature, caring for her plants, and bird-watching through photography.
