If your insurance is not listed, you can choose to self-pay and request a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider to learn more about out-of-network benefits.

Currently, I'm not accepting insurance in South Carolina at this time.

For assistance with reimbursement, I recommend using Reimbursify, a service that handles the claims process with your insurance company. Visit Reimbursify for more details.

Pay What You Can (PWYC)

We offer a donation-based payment system for college students and uninsured adults in need. Our anonymous PWYC model focuses on collective income rather than individual accounts, trusting that one client’s lower fee will be balanced by another’s higher contribution. Each participant is eligible to benefit from this program for up to 6 months, ensuring accessible and continuous care without the burden of surprise bills.

Our approach is built on these core principles:

  • Universal Access: Everyone deserves therapy.

  • Continuity of Care: Enjoy consistent support without unexpected charges.

  • Fairness: All clients receive the same quality care regardless of their individual fee.

  • Financial & Moral Balance: Avoids the complications of insurance billing, reducing feelings of shame or entitlement while supporting a collective funding model.

When determining your fee, please consider your own hourly wage, local self-pay rates for therapy, typical insurance reimbursement ranges, session overhead costs (including taxes and the extra work behind the scenes such as research, record keeping, and planning). We invite you to pay what feels right for you.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges if you do not have insurance or choose not to use it.

  • The Good Faith Estimate outlines the expected cost of non-emergency healthcare services, including therapy sessions, medical tests, and related expenses.

  • Your provider will give you a written estimate at least 1 business day before your scheduled service.

  • If you receive a bill that exceeds the Good Faith Estimate by $400 or more, you have the right to dispute the charges.
